Upgrade complete
The upgrade to the latest stable release of efiction has been completed. Please let me know (awb@deeptwilight.com) if you run into any problems or if there are any bugs (eg adding chapters/stories, can't leave reviews, etc). It's the only way I'll know to fix it.

Also, just a reminder - this archive is invite-only. Only authors invited to share their works may post. Please don't send me any submissions. Cheers!

Site Downtime
I'm planning on doing an upgrade of the efiction software (which runs this site) at some point today so the site may be down for a little while. If the site is unavailable, check back later on. I'll let you know once the update has been completed (hopefully successfully!).

New site skin
I've just added a new skin to the site so if you're sick of the blue, you can change it. There are two ways to change the site skin. You can either use the skin change box on the front page of the site or you can log into your account area and go to Edit Preferences.

I'm still tweaking a few things with the skin so if they look wonky, that's why.

ETA: Okay, the skins should definitely be working now! Sorry, that was my fault. I forgot to untick ONE little box...

'Anonymous' reviews enabled
Give authors some love!

Starting now, all site visitors will be able to leave reviews regardless of whether they are signed in or not. You do not need to be a member to leave a review.

Originally only members were allowed to leave reviews as this minimised the issues with spam & abuse (I'd seen this happen on other archives). However, I'm going to allow 'anonymous' reviews (efiction's term for reviews that are by non-members) for a while and see what happens.

Please Note: Even if you are not signed in, please leave a name so the author knows who is leaving the feedback/review. If non-members abuse this function, signed reviews will be turned back on.

New story added & seeking affiliates
Jacyevans has posted her AU story "Push Me, Pull Me" which I highly recommend. It's the first in the new category, 'Based on the Books' - Jacy's story is an alternative look at "New Moon".

Just a quick note as well, I'm looking for affiliates. If you'd like your site to be affiliated with AWB (and/or linked on the WWW page) then please email awb[at]deeptwilight[dot]com.

New authors & site updates
Welcome to jacyevans & ladyakako, two more authors new to the site who've each written fantastic AUs. Can't wait to see your work up here, guys!

Also just a quick announcement as I've updated a couple of things. The first is I've added a new category - Based on the Books. This is for those AUs that follow book canon up until a point then veer off into AU territory. The second is I've completely reworked the Help section with some FAQs to help members and prospective members. As always, though, if you have any problems please feel free to contact me and I'll do my best to help.

More stories & links added
Welcome to our two newest authors Annilaia and willowedlilies! They've started to add their work to the archive - both very original and different and well worth the read!

As well as new stories being added, I've also updated the links page (found under the WWW link in the top navigation bar). There are some new links to other sites and I've updated with some buttons & banners you can use. If you'd like to, please use these banners in linking back to the archive. Spread the word!

First story added!
We have our first story in the archive! The amazing "A Matter of Convenience" by spotzle, a favourite to many. I'm sure I speak for not just myself when I say we're greatly looking forward to further chapters of this fic!

Welcome also to new site visitors and members. Please feel free to join the site if you would like to leave reviews or be notified when something is updated. Further information can be found in the 'Help' section.

eFiction installed
Okay, the site appears to be working okay. eFiction (the automated archive software) has been installed and it all looks mostly good to go. Check back regularly - we should hopefully have some stories soon! :)
